The City of Jackson e-Procurement Portal provides instructions and specifications, and all questions must be submitted via the Question & Answer section of this RFQP.

Growing concerns regarding quality of water due to increasing pollution and contamination of water sources due to industrial waste, agricultural runoff, and urbanization has presented the need for identification of new well field locations within the City of Jackson or surrounding area. The goal is to determine the most viable future options for providing safe drinking water to the residents of Jackson.
The Mansion Street Water Treatment Plant (WTP) has surpassed 50 years of use and a well field beyond that. The current water system has 7 unusable wells due to contamination and degradation. Higher purity standards increase the need to discover new well fields to maintain the high-quality of water that is provided to approximately 44,000 citizens within the City and surrounding areas.
