RFQ #2024177.1 - Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) and Air Toxic Analyzer

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) seeks to procure (2) Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) and Air Toxic Analyzer and accessories. CARB requests a real-time, highly robust volatile organic compound (VOC) analyzer to measure chemicals that lead to regulated fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and ozone (O3) in the atmosphere. Measurements from this air analyzer is critically needed to improve the regional air quality modeling necessary for the development of federally mandated State Implementation Plan by providing independent verification of aerosol model predictions in areas currently not attaining the National Ambient Air Quality Standards for PM2.5 and O3. This criticality is emphasized because these instruments need to be deployed in NAAQS non-attainment areas.
