RFQ and RFP for the Redevelopment of the Lincoln Highway Gateway TOD Site

The Village of Park Forest, Illinois, invites experienced development teams to submit their qualifications and proposals for the redevelopment of an approximately 12-acre, village-owned site strategically located at the intersection of Lincoln Highway (US Hwy 30), the 211 ^th Street Metra Electric Line Station, Pace Suburban Bus Route 357, and Indiana Street. This is a unique opportunity to create a landmark Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) adjacent to the 211th Street Metra Station.

The Village's vision is to create a high-quality, mixed-use Planned Use Development (PUD) that enhances the community, leverages the site's excellent regional connectivity, and capitalizes on the high traffic volumes along Lincoln Highway. The Village is seeking a partner who can deliver an innovative project that aligns with its long-standing commitment to excellent community planning and design.

This redevelopment will be guided by a two-round selection process. Round 1 is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) designed to identify a short-list of the most qualified development teams. Round 2 will be a more detailed Request for Proposals (RFP) for the short-listed finalists. The intent is to reduce up front sunk costs and resource expenditure for applicants.Â
