NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lake Wales is accepting sealed proposals for:

Redevelopment and Adaptive Reuse of the Walesbilt Hotel

Proposals will be accepted until July 18, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the Purchasing Department at the Municipal Administration Building located at 201 Central Ave. W., Lake Wales, Florida, 33853.

An original, five (5) copies and (1) original copy on flash drive of all proposals, including all executed documents and needed attachments, shall be placed in a sealed envelope, with the label from page 2 affixed, and delivered prior to the deadline, July 18, 2025at 2:00 pm.

Intent

This RFQ is issued to evaluate and shortlist developers based on their technical expertise, financial capacity, project experience, and recent relevant innovative strategies for adaptive reuse of properties similar to the Walesbilt Hotel. Respondents must demonstrate their ability to preserve historic integrity, enhance economic viability, and implement best practices in redevelopment..

All persons and firms wishing to submit proposals must obtain a complete copy of the Request for Proposal and submit all required forms as outlined in the solicitation document with their response.
