RFQ #PWE - 3.28.2025 RFQ PWE - Mitigation, Restoration, Monitoring and Volunteer Management Project
The City of Issaquah Public Works Department intends to procure consultant services that will focus on collaborative enhancement, care, and stewardship of the City of Issaquah’s parks, natural areas, and open spaces. A selected consultant will support the City in managing existing and future mitigation planting sites within the City, and support the City with volunteer recruitment, training and plantings for parks projects. Work will improve and maintain riparian area, wildlife habitat, floodplain, and urban forests. Understanding the value that ecological restoration brings to the City (stormwater management, quality of life improvements, wildlife and salmon habitat, localized external heating and cooling benefits, air quality, and others), this work serves to ensures that past, present, and future ecological restoration projects and efforts receive sufficient investment to achieve long-term City-wide goals and the establishment objectives for each project. -See attached RFQ documents for full details.
