RFQ | PRT - WRP- Three Embarcadero Projects

Through this solicitation, the Port of San Francisco (“Port” or “Department”) a department of the City and County of San Francisco (“City”) seeks competitive proposals from potential Contractor for engineering services to complete three distinct projects, as described in Section II: Statement of Need. The Port expects to select up to three Contractors and award up to three contracts for the following length and not to exceed value:

1.        Project 1: South Beach Coastal Resilience Project
Term: 7 Years; Not to Exceed Contract Value: $9.9 million
2.        Project 2: Wharf J9 Resilience Project, Phase 2
Term: 6 Years; Not to Exceed Contract Value: $7 million
3.        Project 3: Seawall Earthquake Safety Retrofits, Multiple Locations
Term: 6 Years; Not to Exceed Contract Value: $4 million

Description:

Services will include preparation of conceptual engineering reports, basis of design document, surveys and investigations, construction documents, cost estimating, construction schedule, CEQA and regulatory permit support, and design support services during the bidding, construction, and closeout phases including Proposal review, Requests for Information’s, design changes, and other design related support.  Common disciplines include design management, geotechnical engineering, earthquake engineering, marine structure engineering, coastal engineering, utility engineering, surveying, civil engineering, landscape architecture, building architecture, and environmental and regulatory permitting. The Three Embarcadero Early Projects are high priority and primarily funded by the 2018 Seawall GO Bond.
