2025029-RFQ2911 PI # 0008348 Geotech Services - Wrightsboro Rd Widening Project

Project Description: The Proposed project (Columbia County PI 0008348) will consist of widening an approximately 4.1 mile section of Wrightsboro Rd. from Jimmie Dyess Pkwy (SR 383) to Horizon South Pkwy (SR388), from two lanes to three lanes with sidewalks on both sides. The three-lane section will consist of one mainline travel lane in each direction, a two-way left turn lane throughout, and select right turn decel lanes to serve side streets with high traffic volumes. The scope of work includes geotechnical tasks that are needed at this time, including Phase I ESA, Soil Survey Reports, and a Pavement Evaluation Study (PES). Consultant shall be prequalified through GDOT for all category 6 area classes.
