REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
The City of La Vergne Tennessee, an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer, seeks to
retain the services of a professional design consultant firm to provide services related to
providing wastewater engineering services in support of the City of La Vergne Utilities Engineer.
This work will be on-going on an as-needed basis and will be funded by the City of La Vergne
without State or Federal funds.
The work that will be provided under this agreement includes a wide variety of engineering
projects for the City of La Vergne’s Wastewater Collection and Transmission System which
includes the following:
• Gravity sewer collection and transmission systems
• Force main transmission systems
• Lift Stations
• Low pressure collection systems

Requests for Qualification (RFQ)
The RFQ documents may be obtained online at www.lavergnetn.gov/Bids.aspx. Sealed
Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) must be mailed or delivered to: City of La Vergne, Attn:
Felicia Anderson, 1500 E. Nir Shreibman Blvd., La Vergne, TN, 37086. Please label the outside
envelope or box "RFQ #2026-03 – Wastewater Engineering Services."
Four bound copies and one unbound copy of the SOQ must be submitted. The SOQ shall indicate
the scope of services to be completed by any sub-consultants. This will be a time and materials
contract. SOQs must be submitted in a sealed envelope or box with the label as described above
and the respondent’s name and address must be clearly indicated on the front of the envelope
or box. Verbal proposals or proposals received after the closing date and time will not be
accepted and will be returned unopened.
DO NOT submit SOQs by fax or electronically as they will not be accepted or considered.
Initial SOQ Evaluation
SOQs must include the following items. The percent weighting for each item is shown in
parentheses (X%). SOQs shall be limited to a total of 30 pages. No appendices which increase the
page count over this amount will be reviewed.

5. Additional Staff Qualifications (10%)
