The Union County Board of Education is seeking bids for Propane Gas at the
Union County School System. This bid will include prices for services throughout
the bid period effective dates listed below. Price increases throughout the length
of bid contract will not be accepted.
Bid period effective dates: July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027
All bids must be received either by mail or hand-delivered to the address listed below prior to
Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 1:00:00 p.m

No bids/proposals will be accepted after this stated time and date; all such bids will be returned
to the sender unopened. All bids must be clearly marked, "Propane Gas Service RFQ-27-003" on
the exterior of the envelope. The Board of Education staff accepts no responsibility for the
opening of envelopes that are not properly marked prior to the stated bid opening.
Bids will be opened in the Union County Board of Education office on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at
1:00:00 p.m. Letters of acceptance or rejection will be placed in the U.S. Postal Service mail
within five (5) business days following the public opening. Please direct inquiries to Mike

The Union County Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or portion
thereof and to accept any single or combination of items in the proposal/bid and to waive
informalities and minor irregularities in all proposals/bids received. It also reserves the right to
cancel the agreement with the successful bidder at any time, regardless of reason.
