NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lake Wales is accepting sealed proposals for:

On-Call Construction Management Services

At 2:00 P.M., prevailing time, on Friday, August 15, 2025 in the City Commission Chambers at the Municipal Administration Building, 201 Central Ave. W., Lake Wales, Florida, bids will be opened and read aloud.

An original and five (5) copies and one (1) digital copy on a USB drive of all proposals, including all executed documents and needed attachments, shall be placed in a sealed envelope, marked “RFQ 25-13: SEALED PORPOSAL FOR On-Call Construction Management Services”, and delivered prior to the opening deadline on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 2:00 P.M.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the City of Lake Wales, City Commission

Chambers located at 201 Central Avenue West, Lake Wales, Florida, on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 10:00 A.M.

Intent

The City of Lake Wales is seeking to establish a service contract with a qualified electrical contractor whereby electrical work will be accomplished for the City of Lake Wales by the contractor in a reliable and timely manner. The qualified electrical contractor will be licensed by the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and State certified or registered with Polk County. The City is seeking an hourly rate for Electrical Services to be performed within the City of Lake Wales. This contract does not include work on pumps at lift stations or wells.
