Scope of Services
New Smyrna Beach Utilities is seeking a quote from a Licensed and Insured Contractor to supply and install a LiftMaster continuous duty industrial slide gate operator with battery back up at our Smyrna substation located at 3131 SR 44 New Smyrna Beach Florida 32168. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, supervision and permits for this project. The contractor’s bid shall be based on actual field measurements. All products shall be installed per manufacture specifications.
(Mandatory Site Visit on 4/30/25 at 9 A.M) Scope Overview:
1. Gate operator is to be installed inside the property.
2. Install 24”x36”x36” concrete pad for the gate operator.
3. Provide and install one (1) photo-eye, one (1) mounting riser and two (2) virtual loop vehicle presence sensors.
4. Provide and install one (1) surge protector, ground rod and clamp.
5. Contractors’ safety will be observed for compliance with local, State, and federal standards. At no time will NSBU staff be seen as directing a contractor’s job while attempting to maintain safe compliance. It is the contractor’s duty to maintain safe control of their working environment.
6. All work is to be completed weekdays between 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
