RFQ 26-01 Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning System

Overview:

Minneapolis Public Schools – Plant Maintenance is seeking proposals for various heating, ventilation and

air conditioning equipment supplies in accordance with the Districts Master Specifications. Exact repair

requirements, mechanical equipment types, quantities or incidentals are not known at this time. MPS is

requesting a unit price quote for the top 50 most frequently purchased items purchased from your

company. Or seeking pricing on a specific material list. Other items could be required and purchased at

a discount rate.

Scope – Supply basic mechanical equipment supplies

• Provide materials on a Just in Time basis or provide materials for project delivery

• OR Provide a unit price quote for the top 50 items typically purchased.

• Provide company catalog or link which indicates other available items.

• Provide a discount rate as a percentage off any other item not listed.

Schedule:

• Deliver on specified date or JIT

• Supply materials between: 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027

• Final invoice due 8 June 2027

Proposal:

• Provide unit pricing per attached estimated material list

• Provide quote which is based on the top 50 most frequently used items.

• Material unit price and total cost for each item.

• Discount rate as a percentage off of any item available.

• Attach company catalog or link to proposal.

Process

• Submit proposal to Paul.Stehlin@mpls.k12.mn.us and rfx@mpls.k12.mn.us by 1 May 2026 and

include attachments if necessary. The proposal must include material list, unit price and

percentage of discount on any item available from your company. Actual material types or

quantities are not known at this time. The vendor agrees to provide any item available at the

discounted price during the contract period. The owner reserves the right to award to the

lowest responsible bid.
