Synopsis:
|
|
Theodore Dam is located approximately 7 kilometres northeast of the Village of Theodore, Saskatchewan on the Whitesand River.
The scope of the upgrades includes, but it not limited to the following:
• Cofferdamming & dewatering
• Safety boom supply & installation
• Helical piling, including in-water anchor
• Concrete demolition & repair
• New concrete forming & placement
• WSA supplied instrumentation installation and commissioning support
• Earthworks, rip rap, and roadbuilding
• Manhole & drainage piping supply and installation
• Miscellaneous metals
• Chain-link and barbwire fencing
• Trenching & electrical
• Signage

WSA is a Treasury Board Crown corporation within the meaning of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993 (Saskatchewan) that is governed by The Water Security Agency Act (Saskatchewan). WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province’s water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing dams and related supply channels.
