The Town of Boxborough, through the Select Board requests qualifications from qualified firms for Designer services for the planning, design and construction of a new Fire Station. Design services will commence immediately after the contract award. Phase 2 - planning, design, and bidding is expected to be completed by May, 2027.

The Fire Station Building Committee of the Town of Boxborough invites applicants to submit proposals for the services of a qualified Designer, as defined in Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 7C, Section 44-58, and as further defined by the provisions of this Request For Qualifications , to provide Design Services for the planning, design and construction of the new Boxborough Fire Station.

The FSBC is seeking the services of a Designer to provide Phase 2 architectural and engineering design services including, but not limited to, schematic design, design development, construction bid documents, cost estimates, permitting, and bidding services. Phase 3 construction administration and closeout services associated with the project is dependent on future Town approval at Town Meeting and Election. This project has funds appropriated for Phase 2, schematic design through bidding.
