RFQ Clothing Containers and Collection

The Town of Bedford (Awarding Authority) is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide receptacles to collect clothing at the following three (3) municipal locations:

The contract will be awarded to the highest responsive and responsible bidder offering the highest total revenue to the Town of Bedford over the life of the contract, who fully meets all Minimum Qualifications and Specifications detailed herein.

The Contractor shall make himself aware of and comply with the provisions of M.G.L. c. 149. However, the Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards has determined that this clothing container and collection program is not an activity typically carried out by state or local government, therefore is not considered applicable within the meaning of M.G.L. c. 149, s. 27F and does not apply.

The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all responses if it is in the public's interest to do so, and to reject any response if the Awarding Authority determines that such response does not represent the response of a person competent to perform the work as specified.
