RFQ City of Newton 2025 Waterworks Clarifier Painting Project

REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS (RFQ)

FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT

The City of Newton, Iowa is seeking competitive quotations for the construction of the public improvement hereafter described.  Contractors qualified to perform the work and able to obtain the required performance and payment bond are invited to submit competitive quotations, pursuant to the requirement of Section 26.14 of the Iowa Code.

1.     Description of the Public Improvement Work to be Performed Pursuant to This Solicitation.

The public improvement work for which the city is seeking competitive quotations is generally described as follows:

Clarifier Painting Project:  Newton Waterworks is requesting quotations form qualified contractors to provide labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete surface preparation and painting of a clarifier, with pricing for handrails and walkways.
