The Town of Brookhaven (the “Town”), specifically the Town of Brookhaven Department of Highways, hereby solicits Statements of Qualifications from experienced qualified firms with a minimum of ten years’ experience in coordinating with the MTA/LIRR (or as deemed appropriate by the Town) to provide design and construction administration for the Intersection Improvements and Bridge Replacement Project for Sheep Pasture Road over LIRR, in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County, New York.

In 2023, The Town of Brookhaven was awarded a Bridge NY grant for a bridge replacement
project at this location. The grant award requires the project to meet the timeline for the grant,
including start of construction within 24 months of the fully executed agreement/contract (SLA). The consultant shall be required to comply with all terms and conditions of the funding source, including but not limited to, all applicable requirements of 49 CFR Part 26—Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The consultant is required to make and document sufficient good faith efforts to achieve the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 20% for professional consulting services.
