Landscaping Request for Proposal A: Public Property
The Borough of Point Pleasant Beach is seeking the services of Landscapers, on a rotating basis, for the landscape design and general maintenance of Borough property as identified per Schedule A.
The Contractor shall furnish all machinery, pesticides, mulch, labor and materials, technical personnel and all supervision.
After each parcel has been attended to, it shall be the Contractor's responsibility to clean up and remove all debris, including plant or ground material. Clippings, trimmings, or other detritus MAY NOT be blown into the street or onto adjacent properties.
A Certificate of Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000, a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate, and a Pesticide Applicator Certification issued by the NJDEP must be provided to the Borough.
Proposal
The Borough proposes to pay hourly fees for landscape design and maintenance of Borough properties. The following is a list of borough properties that are included in RFP A. This list is subject to change, so your bid should reflect a per-hour charge. The successful bidder will be assigned the work as necessary. Parcels may be added or deleted at the borough's discretion.

Instructions to Bidders

After each parcel has been maintained, it shall be the Contractor's responsibility to clean up and remove all debris from site.

The Contractor must provide the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach with a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.

The Contractor must provide the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach with a copy of their New Jersey State Business Registration.

The Contractor must provide the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach with a copy of their New Jersey Pesticide Applicator Certificate as issued by the NJ Department of Environmental Protections.

The Borough will pay for completed work, on a monthly basis, upon receipt of an invoice by the second Thursday of each month.

Sealed bids must specify a per-hour charge.

Bids must be marked "Landscaping RFP A" and submitted to the Borough Administrator by Friday, December 5, 2025, on or before 4 pm
