2025035-RFP5115: 2026 Water Main Cleaning Project

Project Description: The Columbia County Water Utility (CCWU) is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified contractors to perform a comprehensive water main mechanical cleaning (pigging) and water main ice cleaning (pigging) project within our distribution system. This project aims to enhance water quality, improve system efficiency, and improve customer confidence. The primary reason for this project is to reduce the calls due to discolored water (mostly manganese) in the distribution system. The project includes traditional pigging and ice pigging/cleaning of selected watermain sections within our distribution network. A drawing is attached showing all pig launch and pig receiving stations for mechanical pigging.
