RFP WAT 2026-05 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE PROVISION OF FOREST MANAGEMENT & TIMBER HARVEST SERVIC

5.1 It is the intent of the Albany Water Board (AWB) to sell, to the highest bidder, certain timber located on Water Board property at the Alcove Reservoir Forestlands. The AWB shall designate the City of Albany Department of Water & Water Supply as its sole agent for the execution and administration of the resulting contract. This property is third-party certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), under the Nature Conservancy Group Certificate Registration Code: PBN-FM/COC-000238. The products harvested from this property are 100% FSC Certified. In the event the harvest site is selected for auditing while this contract is in effect, the Contractor may be required to meet and cooperate with Forest Certification auditors on site during the term of this contract. If required, the Contractor shall be notified a minimum of five (5) business days in advance. MWBE-Certified vendors are encourages to submit proposals.
