Beaumont Independent School District is requesting proposals (RFP) for theWalk-in Cooler/Freezer Project (including installation) for the ChildNutrition Cafeteria at West Brook High School (RFP 26.04).

The RFP package and detailed specifications (all documents) may beobtained at www.bmtisd.com/bids or by request from the BISD PurchasingDepartment, 3395 Harrison Avenue, Beaumont, TX  77706; 409-617-5000. An optional pre-proposal conference willbe held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2025 at West Brook High School, 8750Phelan Blvd., Beaumont, TX  77706.

The deadline to submit a response to the RFP is 3:00 p.m. Monday, July28, 2025.  Responses must be sealed, hard copies and must be delivered toBISD Purchasing Department, 3395 Harrison Avenue, Beaumont, TX 77706 before the deadline.  Proposals will be publicly opened andread aloud at the Administration Building, 3395 Harrison Avenue, Beaumont,TX  77706 on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.

Preferred Method of Payment is ACH with the option of a check.

Federal funds (USDA/TDA funding) will be used to pay for all or portionof any contract awarded pursuant to this RFP.

Award of contract, if any, will be made to the proposer thatoffers the best value for BISD based on the selectioncriteria: Price, experience and reputation, quality of services, and extentto which goods and services meet the district’s needs. (as detailed in theRFP package).
