RFP 24-05 - Vision Zero Action Plan to Improve Public Safety with the Goal of Eliminating Traffic Crashes

The Town of Brookhaven was awarded a Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant by US DOT in February of 2023 to undertake a comprehensive safety action plan. This federally funded project will address the pedestrian safety concerns at both uncontrolled crosswalks and signalized intersections throughout the Town.

In the performance of RFP number 24-05, the Consultant is subject to the requirements of 2 CFR §200.321—Contracting with small and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms. The contractor must take all necessary affirmative steps outlined in 2 CFR §200.321 to assure that minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used, when possible.
