RFP - Vendor Market Operator NEW!

The City of Indio (“City”) is seeking creative and innovative proposals from qualified firms or individuals for the organization, operation, maintenance, and management of a local vendor market experience. Potential formats may include, but not limited to, a Farmer’s Market, Mercado, Night Market, or other dynamic vendor-driven models that activate City-owned property located on the Northwest corner of Bliss Avenue and Towne Street and foster community engagement. The Indio Vendor Market is envisioned as a dynamic, inclusive and community-focused destination that highlights the diversity of local entrepreneurs, artisans, growers, and makers.

The City welcomes proposals that demonstrate originality, economic viability, community benefit, and alignment with the City of Indio’s missions and core values.

Proposals must be submitted via email no later than 3:00 pm, Friday August 29, 2025.
