The following is a summary only and does not replace the full RFP.
Description / Background:
The City of Chino Hills is seeking proposals for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) on-call maintenance and emergency support services for the operation of the City’s water and wastewater systems. Together these systems comprise over 45 sites throughout the City of Chino Hills and the neighboring City of Chino. The sites include booster stations, lift stations, hydro-pneumatic stations, reservoirs, wells, and at least one potable water treatment facility. The City’s utility systems are considered critical infrastructure and are comprised of various SCADA components including various control panels, instruments, programs, communication devices, network devices, and other features (SCADA components) which support the operation and control of these systems. The successful vendor will be awarded a contract for a five-year period.
