RFP Town of Seymour Police Department RTU Replacement

The Town of Seymour is requesting proposals for the removal of three underground storage tanks located at various sites within the town. These tanks are no longer in use, as the town has transitioned to an alternative heating source. After the tanks are removed, the sites must be backfilled and restored to their original conditions. Restoration work will vary by location and may include regrading and reseeding of grass areas, as well as repair and/or replacement of concrete and asphalt surfaces. The contractor will be responsible for removing the tanks in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Firms must have proven experience in providing this type of service and must adhere to the relevant state and federal standards and requirements typically associated with tank removal. This RFP is not a contract offer, and no contract will exist unless and until a written contract is signed by the Town and the successful proposer.
