RFP #25261033, Term Agreement for Statewide In-State Welding/Coatings Inspection, Corrosion & Non-Destructive Testing Services 2026
The State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Project Delivery Division, Statewide Materials Section is soliciting professional services for In-state Field Welding and Coating Inspection, Sampling, and Testing within the State of Alaska; to include in-state fabrication inspection. This contract will provide services for ADOT&PF Northern, Central, and Southcoast Region Project Managers as well as Bridge Design, Public Facilities and Marine Highway.
A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated initial period for performance of the Agreement is approximately July 2026 through December2028. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $2,000,000 to $5,000,000.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available JUNE 2, 2026 , and may be downloaded from our web site at: https://dot.alaska.gov/procurement/awp/awp-rfp-cal.cfm Or the RFP may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at the Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska. People residing outside the City of Fairbanks may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 451-2247 or TDD number 711 or 1-800-770-8973. (for Hearing Impaired, requires special equipment). There is no charge for the RFP package.
FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS IN THE RFP FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS: Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received at the address indicated on the RFP no later than JUNE 23, 2026 , 4:00 p.m., prevailing time.
The Northern Region Contracts Section will accept electronic (Zendto) submission of proposals.

*Received files will be downloaded but not opened until after the submittal deadline passes.
The proposals may still be dropped off at our office. A locked Drop Box is located at the outside entry of the Tech Services Building #3 (Contracts Building Main Parking Lot West Side Entrance). Call or Text (907) 799-5632 when you place documents in the Drop Box and we will retrieve and timestamp your documents.
Individuals with disabilities, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal should contact the TTY number 711 or 1-800-770-8973, no later than one week prior to the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements.
