NOTICE TO BIDDERS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF

TAXIWAY B RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT

AT THE

KINGMAN MUNICIPAL AIRPORT

KINGMAN, ARIZONA

RFP-IGM 2024-004

Sealed proposals for the construction of the Taxiway B Reconstruction Project Contract will be received at the City Clerk’s Office, 310 N Fourth St. Kingman, AZ 86401 until 1:00 P.M., AZ Time, December 4, 2024, and there, at said office, at said time, publicly opened and read aloud. Each proposal submitted shall be placed in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the project number, location of airport, and name and business address of the bidder on the outside and then enclosed in an additional envelope for mailing or shipping. 

This project includes the reconstruction of Taxiway B which generally involves the following:

• Demolition of the existing AC and PCCP pavement sections of Taxiway B
• Reconstruct Taxiway B with new asphalt concrete pavement section
• Place taxiway markings
• Install taxiway edge reflectors
• Install new airfield guidance sign

The Contract Documents (consisting of the Advertisement, the Proposal, the Agreement, and the Specifications) and the Contract Drawings may be obtained at the City of Kingman Bidding Opportunities webpage (https://www.cityofkingman.gov/government/advanced-components/list-detail-pages/rfp-posts-list) or by contacting Michelle Auge of C&S Engineers, Inc. at (mauge@cscos.com) who will provide you with the OneDrive link to download the Contract Documents. Either way you must contact Michelle Auge of C&S Engineers, Inc. at (mauge@cscos.com) to register your company on the plan holders list. Submitted proposals that were not recorded on the plan holders list shall be considered non-responsive.

Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total maximum proposal price for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal.

Every request concerning this project must be made in writing and emailed to Randy Behm (rbehm@cscos.com), and to be given consideration must be received at the above email address at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids. Any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda, which, when issued, will be sent and or posted not later than seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. All addenda so issued shall become Part of the Contract and acknowledged by Bidder.  Failure of any Bidder to receive any such addenda or interpretation shall not relieve said Bidder from any obligation under his bid submitted.

A pre-bid conference will be held at Kingman Municipal Airport, 7000 Flightline Drive, Kingman, AZ 86401 on November 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.

All interested bidders are invited to attend.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the proposal, and to reject any and all proposals.
