Request for Bids:
Project Description Cook dinner (menu is up to your choosing) and dessert for 100 guests on
February 4th 2026, at the Taholah Community center for our Mental Health Suicide Prevention dinner.
Dinner will need to be served at 5:00 p.m. and the program will provide to go boxes for remaining food
to go to clients.
Scope of work
• Prep, cook and serve dinner for 100 people. Menu is up to you, please state in detail what you
will be preparing, and water will need to be purchased to go with meal.
• Shop for supplies and food, a PO to Swanson’s will be given with a budget of $700 (supplies
should include paper plates, utensils, and napkins)
• Set up of dining area, which includes setting tables and chairs up.
• Cleaning of kitchen after event and dining area (putting tables and chairs away, sweeping,
mopping)
• Be at the community center for the pre-rental and post rental walk through
Qualifications
• Food handlers permit for all that will be prepping and cooking food
• Has cooked for large gatherings at least twice before this event (please describe)
• Has a business license with QIN
• Native Indian Preference
Include in BID:
• Cost for total scope of work itemized.
• If bidders are Quinault (with enrollment number), Supporting Quinault, Other Indian
(enrollment), or Other.
Preference will be given to inclusion of qualified Indian-owned firms per the QIN’s Indian
Preference Policy. Respondents must not have been suspended or debarred by the federal
government. The Nation’s Indian Preference Policy applies (attached). The determination of
who is an Indian Contractor is made by the Tribal Employment Rights Office according to
Quinault Tribal Code, Title 97. Indian Contractors must provide certification from the Tribal
Employment Rights Office in order to be considered eligible for Indian Preference. A TERO
fee may be assessed. This RFB does not commit QIN to award a contract, to pay any costs
incurred in preparation of a response to this invitation, or to procure or contract for services
or supplies. Respondents will not offer any gratuities, favors or anything of monetary value
to any employee, officer, or agent of the Nation for the purpose of influencing favorable
disposition toward either their proposal or any other proposal submitted as a result of this
RFB. All proposals submitted hereunder become the exclusive property of the Nation. The
Nation reserves the right to accept all or part of the bid, or to decline the whole proposal.

the Contracts Office at 1214 Aalis Dr, Taholah WA 98587 or emailed to
