RFP Secondary #CV25-111 - California Service Corps Training Development

The Learning Specialist / Content Producer hired under this contract will be responsible for producing a series of asynchronous, interactive virtual training modules for Fellows participating in the California Service Corps. These training modules will be mostly focused on career readiness for individuals new to the workforce. The majority of the content will be tailored to California Service Corps Fellows and alumni, an audience primarily new to the workforce; all content should be culturally relevant and focus on career readiness. The trainings should be evergreen, developed for annual implementation, beginning with the 2026-2027 Fellow cohort, and a subset of the trainings should be available to California Service Corps Alumni once they have successfully completed their program. Training modules will be uploaded to a digital platform and may be leveraged in other ways.

The award amount is up to $500,000.

Please note a minimum participation of 3% DVBE and 25% Small Business is required to submit a proposal.

Please note both 3% DVBE and 25% SB participation is mandatory. It was mentioned in the webinar as one or the other which is not correct. Apologies if there was any confusion.

Addendum 2 (4/22/2026): Scope of Work (SOW) in attachment 3 is updated. Please read the updates carefully. A redline Word document to see what changed and a clean PDF version of it has been uploaded.

Also a correction to what was said in the webinar due to the updated SOW:
It was said in the webinar that 15 training modules would need to be created. And that there would be access to past trainings to refresh those modules. Now the required is 12 trainings and 3 optional.  Also, past trainings will be shared but licensed content in those past trainings cannot be used (which is estimated to be 75% of licensed content).
