REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS #26-002
2026 and 2027 SEC Baseball FanFest Event Production
The City of Hoover is requesting proposals from qualified vendors interested in planning, coordinating, and
executing FanFest activities in conjunction with the 2026 and 2027 SEC Baseball Tournament. Sealed
proposals for RFP #26-002: 2026 and 2027 SEC Baseball FanFest Event Production must be submitted to
and received by the following date, time, and location:
Wednesday, February 18, 2026, no later than 5:00 p.m. CT

A MANDATORY pre-proposal meeting will be held at Hoover City Hall, 100 Municipal Lane, Hoover,
Alabama, 35216, on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 10:00 am CT.
The 2026 and 2027 SEC Baseball FanFest Event Production contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the
vendor that submits the best proposal as evidenced by: (1) Completed Proposal Forms submitted in
accordance with the Request For Proposal (RFP) Instructions and in accordance with other specifications
within the RFP Documents; (2) The presence or absence of special conditions or qualifications made by the
Proposer; and (3) The City’s evaluation of proposals based on specifications described within the RFP
Documents.
Please direct all inquiries regarding this Request for Proposal to Tina Di Clemente, Purchasing Officer, by
email at bids@hooveralabama.gov no later than 5:00 pm CT on Friday, January 30, 2026. Answers to all
questions, clarifications, corrections, and/or additions to the RFP Documents will be posted as Addenda on
the City’s website no later than 5:00 pm CT on Monday, February 9, 2026.
The City of Hoover reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive any informality in any Proposal
submitted, and to accept any Proposal that is considered to be in the City’s best interest. All Proposals
submitted shall remain valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the deadline date for the receipt
of Proposals.
The City of Hoover hereby notifies all Proposers that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered
into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) will be afforded full
opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds
of race, color, gender, religion, age, disability, marital status, or national origin in consideration for an
award.
The attention of Proposers is called to the provisions of Section 31-13-9, Code of Alabama 1975 relating
to Immigration Law compliance and documentation thereof (i.e. participation in the Federal E-Verify
program). The successful Proposer will be required to sign a contract that includes the following provision
related to Immigration: "By signing this contract, the contracting parties affirm, for the duration of the
agreement, that they will not violate federal immigration law or knowingly employ, hire for employment
or continue to employ an unauthorized alien within the state of Alabama. Furthermore, a contracting party
found to be in violation of this provision shall be deemed in breach of the agreement and shall be responsible
for all damages resulting therefrom."
