RFP S24DLSE018- Community Navigator Webinar

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit competitive proposals from experienced and qualified Contractors to educate and assist claimants in all phases of the wage claim process, including judgement enforcement. DIR is seeking these services from a highly qualified, culturally competent, linguistically proficient in English and Spanish and other languages, Contractor to serve as ¿community navigators¿ for claimants and develop and provide webinars for claimants. A Community Navigator (Navigators) is a trained professional who provides legal information to vulnerable claimants and serves as a guide through the wage claim process. A webinar is a virtual workshop that explains the various phases of the wage claim process. Workshops will be provided to workers with pending wage claims or preparing to file a wage claim. In addition, the contractor will need to have competent audio-visual capabilities to design material and linguistic proficiency in as many of the following languages as possible Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Mixteco, Triqui, Zapotec, Tagolog and Punjabi or any other language as approved by the Labor Commissioner.
The total budget for the entire contract shall not exceed $320,000.00 to develop and implement the community navigator program and webinar program.
