It is the intent of Montgomery County, Maryland (hereinunder referred to as the “County”) to contract with a qualified Offeror (hereinafter referred to as the “Contractor”) to collect and transport refuse, recyclable materials, yard trim (may or may not be mixed with food scraps and compostable food service ware), scrap metal, electronic items (referred to as e-waste), household batteries, and certain bulk waste, as defined in the attached Exclusive Residential Collection Service Agreement in Service Area 1 (hereinafter referred to as the “Contract”).
