RFP 23-011 Request for Proposal for Dance Contractor

The City of Elgin requests proposals for a qualified dance contractor to provide youth and adult dance programming services, including an annual dance recital performance.

The City of Elgin Parks and Recreation Department offers recreational programs for all ages. These

programs include everything from preschool, swimming, golf and fitness, to ceramics, dance and yoga.

This Request for Proposal is sourcing only for professional dance instruction services.

The City of Elgin Parks and Recreation dance program is focused on providing professional, personable,

fun and qualified recreational dance instruction, at an affordable price, to its residents. The dance

program should meet the needs of children ages 2 to 16 years, and adults ages 16 years and older. The

dance disciplines should include but not be limited to ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, theater, and hip-hop.
