RFP - Replacement/Installation of HVAC System - Memorial Hall

The City of Independence is seeking proposals from qualified mechanical engineering firms to (1) assessment of the existing HVAC system; (2) HVAC replacement recommendation with cost estimates (3) preparation of plans, and specifications to bid for the replacement of our existing HVAC system (4) inspection and acceptance of the installed equipment at Memorial Hall.

The project involves replacing the HVAC system that has reached the end of its life. The new system must be energy-efficient, comply with all relevant regulations and codes, and ensure optimal climate control throughout the facility. Memorial Hall is a 3-story, 70,000-square-foot building with a Civic Center, kitchen, and meeting rooms on the basement level. The second and third floors serve the auditorium and balcony of the facility. The current system was installed in 2006.
