NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lake Wales is accepting sealed proposals for:

Electrician Services

At 2:00 P.M., prevailing time, on Thursday, October 10, 2024 in the City Commission Chambers at the Municipal Administration Building, 201 Central Ave. W., Lake Wales, Florida, bids will be opened and read aloud.

An original and two (2) copies and one (1) digital copy on a USB drive of all proposals, including all executed documents and needed attachments, shall be placed in a sealed envelope, marked “RFP 24-554: SEALED PORPOSAL FOR ELECTRICIAN SERVICES”, and delivered prior to the opening deadline, 2:00 P.M., EST on Thursday, October 10, 2024.

Intent

The City of Lake Wales is seeking to establish a service contract with a qualified electrical contractor whereby electrical work will be accomplished for the City of Lake Wales by the contractor in a reliable and timely manner.  The qualified electrical contractor will be licensed by the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and State certified or registered with Polk County.  The City is seeking an hourly rate for Electrical Services to be performed within the City of Lake Wales.  This contract does not include work on pumps at lift stations or wells.

All persons and firms wishing to submit bids must obtain a complete copy of the Invitation to Bid and submit all required forms as outlined in the solicitation document with their response.
