RFP PS&E for Margaret Lane Tank 4 Repair Project

The City of Arcata (City) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide engineering design services for the development of final construction plans, specifications and estimates for the Margaret Lane Tank 4 Coating and Repair Project (Phase 2). This phase of the project includes completion of 100% construction drawings, specifications and estimates and related activities for bidding the construction phase of the project to rehabilitate and retrofit a 250,000-gallon, welded carbon steel water storage tank, located on Margaret Lane in Arcata, California.

A mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 10:30 AM at the job site, located at 2252 Margaret Lane, Arcata, CA.

Proposals must be received no later than 4:00 PM on Friday, August 22, 2025. Proposals received in response to this RFP will be used as the basis for selecting a consultant to complete the PS&E phase of this project. The award for this contract is anticipated to be made at the Arcata City Council's meeting on or after September 17, 2025.
