Summary Details
The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) invites qualified companies to submit proposals for a new/used (light) 1 Ton, 4 wheel drive, crew cab and long box pickup truck. The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) Protective Services Department is seeking proposals for a 1-ton, 4WD, crew cab, long box pickup truck. This vehicle will serve as the primary Duty Officer truck, providing rapid response to emergencies across the region. The truck must be capable of towing various trailers exceeding 12,000 lbs GVWR, including emergency operations and structure protection unit trailers, during critical situations. Key requirements include robust towing capacity, off-road capability, durability, and safety features suitable for emergency response in diverse and challenging environments. Additionally, an emergency lighting and equipment package will be installed by a separate contractor, thus the truck should be compatible with aftermarket emergency response equipment installations. |
