RFP: Professional Services for Production and Management of 2026 Flower Fest
The City of Rochester is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or organizations to produce and manage the 2026 Flower Fest, a one-day vendor-centric event celebrating the 50th anniversary of the City of Rochester mark (flower logo). Rochester’s official logo - designed to resemble both a lilac petal and a water wheel that powered the flour mills of our past - has become increasingly popular, being used on all things from bumper stickers to t-shirts, to jewelry designs, and more.
The event will take place on the Pont de Rennes Bridge on Saturday, June 6, 2026 and will exclusively feature vendors that sell merchandise and wares that feature the City’s beloved logo. The event will end with a drone show in which the City mark shall be displayed prominently throughout the performance. Unique ideas such as innovative marketing/promotion ideas, sponsorship partner proposals, site setup, and other suggestions are welcome as part of all proposals.
All inquiries concerning this RFP shall be submitted via e-mail, citing the particular proposal section and paragraph number, no later than Friday, January 16, 2026. Prospective Consultants should note that all clarifications and exceptions are to be included in the proposal.
All proposals concerning this RFP shall be submitted via e-mail no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30. Proposals will not be considered if they are incomplete and do not contain all sections required by Appendix A. If the City requires additional information to clarify a proposal, we will request it.
