REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

Professional Cleaning Services

1)  INTENT

The City of Peekskill Section 8 Program ("City") is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide professional cleaning services for its office located at: 2B John Walsh Blvd, Peekskill, NY 10566

This RFP is issued in accordance with Federal Code 2 CFR part 200 and is intended to provide prospective bidders with the necessary information to prepare and submit a comprehensive proposal. The awarded firm or individual will be designated as the Professional Cleaning Service ("PCS") and will be responsible for delivering cleaning services as specified in the Scope of Work.

2) SPECIAL CONDITIONS

This RFP is issued for the solicitation of professional cleaning services and is not intended to request an audit or review of operations. All activities under this agreement must comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

3) OVERVIEW

The City seeks a Professional Cleaning Service to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of the office at 2B John Walsh Blvd. Services should be performed efficiently, reliably, and in a manner that meets the City’s operational needs including but not limited to the services detailed in the Scope of Work section of this RFP. The PCS will be expected to adhere to all United States Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") approved procedures, as applicable, and deliver services in compliance with all relevant guidelines and standards from the City.
