Dona Ana County (DAC) is responsible to enforce and maintain health and public safety of the community, as such the County seeking qualified entities to assist with the demolition of properties and remediate land as required by the County. Dona Ana County (DAC) intends to enter into an agreement with up to four successful Proposers for the performance of demolition services to ensure health and safety of individuals.

Any firm removing any condemned building, structure, mobile home, manufactured home, wreckage, rubbish or debris shall leave the premises from which the material has been removed in a clean, level and safe condition, suitable for further occupancy or construction, and with all excavations filled.

Demolition of specified structures, outbuildings, or clearance of vacant land as identified by County included in this RFP includes, but is not limited to:

1) Roofs, walls, floor, foundation & footings;
2) Disconnect all existing utilities properly capping/terminating services;
3) Hazardous material abatement testing and removal. Will be required to follow the NESHAP, 40 CFR 61 subpart M
4) Proper containment and air clearance required;
5) Obtain demolition permit;
6) Provide solid waste manifest of all hazardous materials removed from site;
7) Haul all material to landfill;
8) Spray water for dust control;
9) Remove all ruin/rubbish;
10) Remove fencing around property;
11) Remove of vegetation and trees;
12) No debris shall be left on property;
13) Obtain Environmental Permit;
14) Obtain asbestos and lead paint environmental permits;
15) Any required permits and bond; and
16) Contractor has all salvage rates;

Work will be accomplished by issuing a Task Order under the Price Agreement. The selected Contractor(s) shall furnish documentation estimating the labor, materials, and equipment needed to perform the work for review and approval by DAC. The term of this contract shall be one (1) year with an option to renew by mutual consent for nine (9) additional one (1) year periods not to exceed a total of ten (10) years. DAC may add to or delete from the Scope of Work set forth in this RFP. No purchases are obligated by this RFP.
