RFP: Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), and Remedial Services

Overview

The City of Rochester is seeking proposals from qualified Consultants ("Consultant(s)") for the performance of environmental site assessments, investigations and remedial services.

The City of Rochester is a municipality of 211,000 people located in the upstate New York Finger Lakes region. The City of Rochester has established within the Division of Environmental Quality the Office of Environmental Remediation (OER). The primary objective of the OER is to provide services for environmental due diligence assessments, environmental cleanups, and to assist with Brownfield remediation and redevelopment projects located within the City of Rochester. The services to be provided will include due diligence Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments of properties prior to acquisition, sale, condemnation, donation or foreclosure. Other projects include soil vapor intrusion and remedial investigations, air quality studies (mold, asbestos, lead, PCBs), feasibility studies, cost estimation, geotechnical investigation, work plan preparation, environmental engineering, site inspection, remedial services and pollution prevention and compliance services. The scope of these additional services will be determined on a project-specific basis when needed.
