NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP No. 25252000 – Parks Highway Milepost 57-72 Rehabilitation: Houston to Willow Design Services

The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional design services for the Parks Hwy: Houston to Willow project. The primary purpose of the Parks Hwy: Houston to Willow project is to rehabilitate the existing roadway, including any needed safety and capacity improvements. Design Services include a kick-off meeting, surveying, Right of Way Mapping, public involvement, civil engineering, electrical engineering, design study report, 3R analysis, guardrail analysis, H&H Design, ESCP, traffic control plan, plans, specifications, and estimates. Project closeout, assistance during bidding and construction shall also be provided and Right of Way Appraisals and Acquisition Services. The Contracting Agency reserves the right to accomplish these services by other means including adding services to the contract by amendment.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately May 2025 to December 2030.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of greater than $1,000,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available February 24, 2025 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than March 17, 2025, prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
