RFP No. 25252015 – HSIP: Gambell St. Utility Pole Removal & Increased Lighting Design Services - PLUS

The Contractor shall provide professional services for the design and advertising of the above named project, and two (2) additional named projects.  The first project, HSIP: Gambell St. Utility Pole Removal and Increased Lighting, will  facilitate the removal of utility poles on Gambell Street between 3 ^rd and 15 ^th Ave through coordination with CEA, GCI, and ACS. It will also install continuous lighting meeting current standards. This project has been designed to the PIH stage by the Contracting Agency. The Contractor will be the lead designer for this project.  Anticipated Services are described in the Statement of Services.  The other named projects are the HSIP: Gambell and Ingra Street-Overhead Signal Indication Upgrades project and the HSIP: 5 ^th Ave: Concrete St. to Karluk St. Pedestrian Improvements project.  See Special Notices, item 15.10 for additional information.  The Contracting Agency may one (1) additional, similar HSIP projects during the initial period of performance.  See Special Notices, Item 15.11 for additional information.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately December 2024 to December 2029.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be greater than $1,000,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available September 27, 2024 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than October 21, 2024 prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
