The University of Delaware, and The National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL) are requesting proposals and pricing from qualified suppliers to support an interlaboratory study to quantify and characterize adeno-associated virus (AAV) materials using sedimentation velocity analytical ultracentrifugation (SV-AUC) under a harmonized, prescriptive protocol so that data are directly comparable across laboratories and between harmonized and in-house methods.
The protocol, which will be finalized between UD / NIIMBL and the selected supplier(s) when the project commences, will define experimental procedures (sample preparation, handling, instrument set-up) and data analysis requirements (SEDFIT continuous c(s) model) that must be implemented exactly as described to ensure consistency.
Request Number: NIIMBL-2026-0479
