The Town of Ledyard will receive sealed bids, in triplicate, for the

EXTERIOR REHABILITATION (at the East Wall ONLY) of the NATHAN LESTER HOUSE, 153

Vinegar Hill Road, Gales Ferry, Connecticut. All bids shall be provided on a lump sum basis for work

contemplated by the Contract Documents. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday,

February 8, 2024, at the Office of the Mayor, 741 Colonel Ledyard Highway, Ledyard, CT 06339-

1511, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after this time will not

be accepted.

All work shall meet the requirements of this specification and shall be approved by the Ledyard Historic

District Commission.

Representatives of the Town of Ledyard Historic District Commission will conduct a MANDATORY

Pre-bid Conference at the project site at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024.

PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS SHALL ATTEND to become familiar with the scope and constraints of the

project.

NO bid may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days from receipt of bids. The Town of Ledyard reserves

the right to reject any or all bids and to make such awards, including acceptance of other than the

lowest bid, as is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Ledyard.
