Medicaid Billing & Service Documentation Platform
Jackson County School System - Special Education Department
The Jackson County School System (JCSS) Special Education Department is seeking proposals
from qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive Medicaid billing and service documentation
platform. The goal is to improve efficiency, ensure compliance, and maximize reimbursement for
eligible services provided to students.
JCSS is particularly interested in solutions that streamline workflows for both therapy services
and nursing services, reduce duplicate documentation, and provide real-time data insights.
Scope of Services
The selected vendor must provide a platform that supports the following:
A. Nursing Services
Integration with Infinite Campus, including CPT code automation
Elimination of duplicate documentation through automated workflows
Ability to maximize documentation within Infinite Campus Health
Training and support for nursing staff on documentation best practices
Capability to support Free Care Medicaid billing expansion upon state approval
B. Therapy Services (Speech, OT, PT, etc.)
Full integration with Student Information Systems (SIS)
Medicaid eligibility filtering for efficient billing
Flexible logging options:
o Bulk logging
o Group session logging
o Ability to convert group sessions to individual sessions as needed
Compliance tracking:
o Prescribed vs. delivered service minutes
Documentation tools:
o SOAP notes
o Word bank features
o Talk-to-text capabilities
Shared student access across service providers
Calendar-based service logging
Supervisor review and approval workflows
Ability to support multiple therapists per student
Required System Capabilities
The platform must include:
Automated data integrations with:
o GO-IEP
o Infinite Campus (including Health/Nursing modules)
Centralized, real-time compliance tracking for all IEP students (not limited to
Medicaid-eligible students)
Mobile-friendly interface for providers
Efficient documentation process (target: ~15 seconds per service log)
Real-time analytics and reporting capabilities
o No reliance on delayed or retroactive reporting cycles
Full claim management services
Dedicated customer support, preferably with Georgia-based expertise
