- Summary:The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to solicit sealed proposals to establish contracts through competitive negotiation for the provision of mathematics basal resources. Fairfax County Public Schools (herein referred to as “FCPS”, “County”) intends to award one basal resource for each of the courses listed in Attachment A Mathematics Course List. FCPS defines basal as a core tier one curriculum designed to provide grade level instruction aligned to the Virginia Department of Education State Standards and FCPS Program of Studies.
