REQUEST FOR PRICE QUOTES
LAKE SHORE DRIVE ENGINEERING & SITE PLAN
The County of Aroostook is soliciting "Price Quotes" for engineering services, site plan work,
and all associated project applications and permits with the State of Maine/LUPC for a shoreline
repair project on Lake Shore Drive at Madawaska Lake.
All products must adhere to and follow State of Maine - Land Use Planning Commission
(LUPC) Specifications.
Project: Lake Shore Drive Engineering and Site Plan (Madawaska Lake)
A portion of the shoreline along Lake Shore Drive needs to be repaired.
Shoreline erosion is occurring along sections of Lake Shore Drive. Repairs to
include dirt fill (if necessary), geotextile fabric, rip rap and/or natural
vegetation planted.
It is recommended that interested parties visit the project sites prior to submitting price
quotes. If need be, a County representative will meet with engineers on site. All questions
should be referred to John Gibson, Community Services Director, at 493-6306, or by cell at
227-7930.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked "County of Aroostook - Lake
Shore Drive Madawaska Lake Engineering Services", and delivered no later than 12:30 pm,
Friday, July 24th, 2026.
