RFP FY-24-25-02 CUSTODIAL CLEANING SERVICES

Project Description: Reading Area Community College (RACC) is seeking Bids from qualified Contractors to provide Custodial Cleaning Services across seven (7) buildings on campus. RFP release date is Tuesday, October 22, 2024 and Bids must be received by RACC via the PennBid platform at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com by Tuesday, November 19, 2024 by 10:00 AM EST.
The award will be a three (3) year contract with two (2) optional 1-year extensions based on performance. While this RFP covers specific buildings, additional work is expected to be performed in the Miller Center for the Arts and on campus for various functions on an “as-needed” basis.
An optional pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Yocum Library, Room 117, 10 South Second Street, Reading, PA 19602. All Bidders are welcomed to attend. Written requests for clarifications are requested by 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Requests must be submitted in writing through the PennBid platform.
All Bids must be received by 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 for the above project through the PennBid portal
RACC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities, omissions, errors, mistakes, or defects in any Bid, or to accept or reject any or all bids at its sole discretion in the best interest of the College. The Contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Owner.
