RFP#FPC-25-07 - UAA Construction Term Contract

Proposals for TERM CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT on an as needed basis, as described in the General and Special Conditions contained herein, from date of award through June 30, 2026 with options [(two (2) one (1) year - 12-month increments] to renew through June 30, 2028, will be received by the University of Alaska Anchorage, Facilities Planning & Construction (FP&C) until July 1, 2025 at 4:00 AM., via Bid Express https://www.bidexpress.com/businesses/64480/home.

The work consists of, but is not limited to, construction, alteration, modification, maintenance and repair to UAA owned and leased facilities and its extended campus facilities located with the State of Alaska.  The work includes all materials, supplies, labor and equipment required and necessary to complete the scope of work described in each work order.

The total quantity of work ordered during the first contract period, and any subsequent renewal period, will typically not be less than $5,000 nor more than $100,000 per work order with a not to exceed aggregate total of $3.5 million during any one-year contract period.  Individual work order authorizations may exceed $100,000, up to $500,000, based on need at the sole discretion of the University.

Work performed in conjunction with this term contract is subject to State of Alaska, Title 36. Public Contracts and the prevailing wage rate determination(s) contained in Pamphlet No. 600. A Notice of Award for Work Orders greater than $25,000 will be submitted to the State of Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development (DOLWD).  Contractor will be responsible to pay filing fees to the State of Alaska DOLWD in accordance with statute section 36.05.045(a).

A pre-proposal conference will be held on June 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM, in the Gordon Hartlieb Hall Building Room 103, at 3300 Seawolf Drive, Anchorage, AK 99508, for the purpose of answering any questions offerors may have.

Bid security is required to be submitted with each proposal in accordance with the Instructions to Offerors.
